Cinderella Man

I liked to write the Cinderella man because has a good history. When a saw the first page I thought "I don't like this book because I don't like boxing", but when I started to read the book, my opinion was different. I like that book. When we saw the movie I like more the history, because the actors in the movie are excellent actors, and I like Russel Crown. It made me cry and laugh. I said to my boyfriend that he watch that movie because he like Russel Crown too.

I hope that the next book will be good like the same Cinderella man and also learn new words for my vocabulary.

Baseball my Favorite Game.


Since I was a little kid, my dad usually took me to his baseball games and  explain me about it so I join a team and learn how play the game and of course I loved more... after a few years I got the opportunity to couch a little League team here in Memphis for me was a incredible experience; teach the kids how play,improved and love the game which I love so much working with kids has been very nice experience,I just realized how go its teach a bunch of kids all you know about the game you love's and enjoy.

How to make girlfriend

I talked with my university friends about how to make girl friend. That is important question for us. Unfortunately, I have friends who do not have girlfriend so we talked about the question all day.
 "Why he got girlfriend? Why we do not have girlfriend?" Our conversation started this sentence. After our class, we met at the computer room. In that room, it was allowed to speak. There were computers in that room so some students made reportts. In that room, we discussed. We talked for a long time but we could not find our answer. One day, my friend said, "Masa, you and me are kind guy but we can not get girlfriend. Why?" I said, "Please tell me." That friend said, "Masa, to tell the truth, I know the answer." I was surprised at the words. "What?! Hey, teach me!" I said. After a few seconds, my friend said, "You and me are old face so we can not have girlfriend. Whenever women likes handsome guys. They look the men's faith, only. They notice the truth that mind is most important for loving each other when they are old from now. We have to wait until that." I did not know why but I accepted the speech, then.
 The nice discussions are good memories in Japan. I do not know how to make girlfriend now. So love may be very interesting for me.

My Family

   I have four people in my family, parents, older sister and brother. We have good relationship each other and very nice family for me. I will introduce my family in order.

My father is 55years old and works as a plasterer. Its job is to cover walls and ceilings with plaster and quite hard job. He always said that my shoulders and back are aching and got tired everyday. Whe I was junior high school students, he seemed to be very busy, but his job was getting to be reduced because of bad economy in Japan and the reason why people live in apartment and don't build a house gradually. Maybe now his job is better because japanese economy increase little by little and I hope that he will make a lot of money.

My mother is 54 years old and works as a dry cleaner's. She can clean every dirty clothes to white and I don't need to go to a laundry. It is good and my family can clean clothes for free. She do house work and she looks busy everyday.

My brother is 30 years old and 10 years older than me. He works at electric company and already has his family, wife and a boy and a girl children. His childrens are ver cute. I look after them and play with them when I go back to parent's house.

My sister is 28 years old and works as a beautician. She also got married and has a child. I had my hair cut every times when I go back to hometown. She has good skills and I have a special beautician for me.

I have been looked after by my family and I am thankful to them. After graduate from my university and get a job, I will give back a lot of things to them. I have to earn a lot for it. I want to be a rich man and take care of my family.

Admire him and disapointed about my self.

                In my opinion, when i read and watched Cinderella Man, i have realized that : the greatness of Jim were not about his victories in final game and championship , it was Jim 's sacrifice for his little family. Generally , love of human can make a unbelievable and unimaginable strength . Just thoughts about earning money for his kid can make a man fight with an empty stomach ( if his manager don't realize , it maybe come true) . Strength of muscle can help a big guy win a small guy, but strength of mental can be made surprise things. A clearly example is Jim, broken hand can't  stop him working to feed his children and can't break his promise with his son. You should ask about this great strength to Alz , a beautiful sweet and thin woman,  if someone harms her baby. ( Congratulation Alz, you always appear in all my blog. ^^

             Everything he did for his family that was really really admirable . But more admire more sad i feel. How about me if i was in this situation. I am really scared that i can't do like that, Even a responsible father maybe is so hard for me in the future. All my thought may be redundant thinking. But i have not done anything for parent and relatives feel proud of me during 26 years. And in that 26 year , i have not had a really job , no talent , no responsible , no hard-working, no try my best in everything.( i think so ). A man just know about eating and  ... studying ( although studying is also not good ). This is not a man , just a boy. ( oh useless man).

Be a mom is a unique experience

Those nine months of waiting bring with them many emotions and charges in my body; we waited the arrive of our baby. My husband and I decided not to know the sex of the baby, we prefer to be a surprise for us, when that day finally came my mom, husband and I went to the hospital; I was nervous but happy because my baby is part of me, and my baby is about to be in my arms. I prayed to God that my baby was born with good health, and the most awaited moment finally arrive,although I was heavily medicated I will never forget the moment when my doctor said, ”He is a boy he is a cute  baby boy”. I saw at my husband and I said “I want to see at my baby” I remember well the time when I first saw my beautiful son, is an image that is on my mind and will never forget. I kissed my son, and asked to my husband if he had a well health, and he told me, “Yes, he is perfect” after that I can’t remember anything except that I wake up in another room, and I saw at my husband and mom aside to me.

 

My baby name is Rodolfo Rene he was born in May-27-2011,he weighed 4.125 kg (9.094 lb.), and length 53.3 cm (1.74 feet).

PRAGUE

Prague is main city of the Czech republic. Geography of Prague is on Vltava River and in the center of the Bohemia Basin. Population is about 1 254 000 people. Prague is famose, historic and big city. This place visit a lot of people from all the world. We can find main attractions: Prague Castle, Charles bridge, Old Town Square, Powder tower, Petrin hill, St. Vitus Cathedral. Some of cultural institution include the National theatre, Smetana theatre, National library and museum Mucha, museum of capital city of Prague and other. We can see in Estates theatre premiers of Mozart symphonie.                                  

Cuisine: There are hundreds of restaurant, bars and pubs especially with Czech beer. Prague is home of many Breweries. Typical food which you can find are: dumplings, Svickova, Gulas, Smazeny syr, etc.                                                

Transport : The public transport are Prague Metro with 57 station, Prague tram system, buses, Petrin funicular to Petrin Hill and six ferries. Prague has airport  Vaclava Havla before named Ruzyne ( I like Ruzyne but other people prefer Vaclava Havla…..) We can fly by Czech Airlines.

I love Prague. Every time when I can visit Prague I can’t wait J  

A month passed

 A manth passed since I came University of Memphis. Before I came here, I had had tensions and worries. I have worries now but it relax than previous.
 When I was in Japan, I feared to go to the U of M. That had three resons. First, there was a worry about living with American. I was shy, so I felt, " Can I communicate with American who is friendly." Second reason is the image of Memphis. I searched informations about Memphis. Then, I considered Memphis was bad security ciry. Reason that I couldn not speak English and listen to English is final. I tried to improve my English skills but I did not think my that skill was improved.
 Now, I spend very good life in Memphis. I had negative thing of the above but I do not feel like that, now. American's ideas taught me the importance to tell someone my opinion. People of Memphis said Memphis in the night was dangerous but I realized they were very kind people. I want to talk with a lot of countries people so I enjoy learning English. Sometimes, I have stress but it is interesting, too. Like this, my negative things changed positive things. I study English and I want to get English skills. Time is money so I must treasure life in Memphis and spend time to change myself.

Independence Day of Mexico

Today is important day for Mexico, because today marks day 203 years of its independence I like this day because it is a day of celebration, and during the evening of September 15, people start gathering in the Zócalo or in the main square of your city or town. Many people walk around dressed in typical Mexican dresses: men as “Charros” and women as “China Poblanas”, or indigenous dresses. But if don't have typical outfit, at least dress find something to wear in the colors of the flag.

In the main square can never miss live music with “Mariachis” or people in competing singing with Mexican music. In the square, there is also a fair with games for young children and adults and of course without fail positions many people delicious Mexican dinner with their families usually there because the food is very good and rich. As the evening advances, the square gradually fills with more and more people; suddenly there is practically no room to move. Excitement and euphoria reach a crescendo at the expected moment when the president arrives in the Zócalo, at 11:00 P.M. to give the "grito" or the Cry of Independence.  This process reminds the moment in which Father Hidalgo, gathered his followers in Dolores Guanajuato. It is customary for our President to deliver the “grito” (cry) in Mexico City’s Zócalo. It is in this square, atop Palacio Nacional, that the original bell rung by Hidalgo is placed. And this is the bell that is rung every 16th of September. The ceremony becomes more significant when the crowd joins in proudly shouting out the names of the heroes of our Independence, to and end with the exciting VIVA MÉXICO!!! VIVA!!!

Cooper Young Festival

 This Saturday, I went to "Cooper Young Festival". I heard that information from Miche. There were a lot of shops!
 First, I went to the ice cream shop. That shop clerks were very kind and that shop's ice creams were good taste, so cheap. If I have a lot of money, I want to eat forever. There were other food shops but I don't have money so I can't eat a lot of foods. I found sunglasses shop there. That sunglasses were so cheap so I bought two sunglasses. It's easy for me to break so I have to use carefully.
 That festival was so good! My friends enjoyed, too! That memory was great memory which I get in Memphis. I want to more enjoy doing something in Memphis.

Travel to Argentina

In 2011 i decide to travel to Argentina, it was 2 specials events in particular the first one was because one of my best friends live there and the other one was a special soccer tournament, my trip stated in Venezuela i flew from there to Brazil and after there flew to Buenos Aires that city its very special, when i first started walk the streets and watch the architecture i felt in Europe for one second; one of the best thing i did over there was eat the meat, this people has a very particular way to grill meat and i don't know how they does but was so tender and good beside that the local wines are so good and cheap, was the perfect combination. people are so excite about soccer its their lives for Argentinians everything its about soccer and you can fell that in every street of Buenos Aires, Clubs open so late they star going out around 2 am, at that time the clubs are opening, other thing i really enjoy it was everything its delivery even burger king. 

That trip for me was super nice how you can fell the culture of another country, was a good experience i recommend.

 

Amezing evening in Dallas

This Friday we went to Dallas in Texas saw the drag racing after school. Because our friend was racer. He races long time with his car. We came on time when the race start. The start was't really good for him but we cheered for him whole time.There were a lot of people mainly from Dallas and close cities. Racers had have very expensive and fast cars. The whole race nobody knew who will be winer. Our friend went  all the way to finalls and than his motor broke down and hi lost. The men who won had problem with his car too but other people pushed him to finish line and he won. The race was really interesting! Almost everybody like fast cars :-) 
After race we spent night in Downtown Dallas and Saturday was time go home to Memphis :-) 

Traditional celebrated for birthdays in Mexico.



         In my country is usually begin the celebration with "The mananitas" when you wake up and drink a cup to chocolate and later, the birthday boy invite all his friends to his house for celebrated his birthday and all the guests can bring presents.

Everybody on the party gather around the birthday cake and singing "the mananitas" to birthday boy. After, the birthday boy blow out the candles and bite the cake but the best part to the party is when we break the pinata, catch candy and dancing. 

I love it celebrated birthdays in my country.

My japanese trip

Before i came to Memphis, I traveled around west Japan. Japan is composed with 47 prefectures and I completed 21 prefectures. It takes about one week. I visited to then with my girlfriends and we used a car that borrow from her mother. I don't have a car because I have no money and i don't need a car. This is the reason why there are subway, train and bus and a lot of good places for shopping near my living area. It is very comfortable and you can go anywhere if you have a bicycle. A car is not important for me,but I want to get it. After graduated from university, I will get a car soon. Maybe I will buy a used car because it is cheaper and sometimes might get accident. If i get a new one, It will get hurted soon because then my driving skill is no good. I am thankful to her mother. I  have to give back something to her instead of what she borrowed us the car, but I haven't done it. I am planning to present her something that I buy something in America for it. Anyway, I am talking about my trip.

I started the trip at 1 a.m in the midnight. It was in the dark and we are exciting for our trip and on the othe hand, we are worried about it cause we didn't have a car and hadn't driven a lot before it. It was a big challenge for us. We didn't have a plan where we go. We just decided a direction and left home with having only clothes, money and guide books. We had only one week for the trip because I had to leave for US and my girlfriend had school. It was quite short term and how many places we can visit and if I can go back home or not were our challenge. I drove for long time because she can't drive well. Sometimes when i drove and got tired, I fell asleep and was likely to get accident. If you drive for long time or in the midnight, be careful. Sleep devil attacks you anytimes.

My trip was finished safety in the end and we could visit to many places where I had never beeb, ate a lot of delicious foods and meet many people. I got tired severely,but really enjoyed the trip. I am planning to visit to east Japan next year. After go back to Japan, i have to make much money for it and save it.  The trip is good experience for me and I believe that I will affect me in the good way in the future.

Interesting Hand Facts

    There are some interesting facts about our hands.
    We both have 2 hands if u are not a disabled. And each hand has 5 fingers, someone has 6 or more. There are some wrinkles on our hands, and each finger has unique fingerprint. Our hand is a small part of our body, but it’s not simple. On each hand, we have 29 major and minor bones (many people have a few more), 29 major joints, at least 123 named ligaments, 34 muscles which move the fingers and thumb:17 in the palm of the hand, and 18 in the forearm, 48 named nerves, and 30 named arteries and nearly as many smaller named branches. It,s easy to get injuries like burning and crushing, athletic injuries or get cut by something. So mind your hand!

Some surprise things about our body

          While i am preparing and writing a paragraph about memory , i have found some interesting sciences. The truth is that it has been long time i don't read any journal or scientific news. I also don't have any ideas to write blog , so i will give some information. If you care about yourself , maybe it will let you know clearly about your body and have more knowledge. Alz , i can promise to you that i don't just copy and paste from internet, i have read , processed information and written by my own words.^^

          Human body contains wonderful things that sometimes we can not believe it could be happen. Below information are surprise things about human and human body.

1. Human is the unique mammal that can not breathe and swallow at the same time. ( too bad , dog cat cow .... are able , and human is not able.)

Other mammals and even non-mammals can breathe while they are eating . Actually, new-born child can do this work to breath while they suck milk. But this ability will be lost after 9 months , it is the time that larynx start to develop. ( i thinks i just give the information, Alz, because if i explain , this blog will be easy to fall asleep ^^)

2. Human rain was created from 80% water. 

That is so hard to believe that one important part of body containing a lot of information was constructed from almost water. But it is true. This is one reason why drinking and keeping water in the body is very important. Brain can not function at the optimal performance when our body lacks water.

3. Dolphins and humans are the unique species with pleasure while having sex. ^^

Certainly , many other species around the world are also involved in sex , but most species are not doing it for emotions simply . They do it because of only reproduction purpose. Human have sex to reproduce , but in addition , we also find joy in it.

4. Stomach acid is strong enough to tear the razor.

The stomach acid will quickly melt the metal of the razor when exposed to it. This demonstrate how is the strength of stomach acid and increased gastric acid will be completely harmful for body.

5. The quantity of bone.

The number of bone of a adult person is less than children. That is true.  When we are born with 350 bones but the bones fuse together during growth , so we just have 206 bones when we are adult.

Daily blog September 9 2013

            What does the boring guy can do ? I can not pull any ideas from my head so a blog about my long night is the best idea ^^ . And i thank Alz helped me get one fantastic night while almost people had a long sleep. ( just kidding).

            I came back my room in the dorm in 3:30 pm after Pronunciation class. This class reminds me off childhood when i began to familiarize with English ^^ . I don't have any meaning but that is exactly the same with my Grade 3 or Grade 4 class in Vietnam. Last weekend i lived in my sister home so my room had many things to clean out ( haiz one long breathe ). And i prepared the dinner by myself , nobody do it for you , Long. My dinner is just the chicken cooked in Vietnam style with some favor and in my opinion this is so delicious  . Sorry American food i can not accept you although i have tried my best.  After finishing the meal , i knew that i had many works to do this night but i could not skip the Final US OPEN TENNIS game , because my idol tennis , Novak Djokovic would play with the number 2 tennis player of the world , Rafael Nadal. But the result didn't make me feel excited , Novak have lost and i slept without my realizing.

            Fortunately, i woke up at 1 AM , oops so right time  and started to do my jobs unless tomorrow Alz will not give me the way out ( still kidding Alz, i know that you just want all students become better ). First is reading Cinderella Man with listening a song " One More Time " of Maroon 5 , the video clip of this song have a little bit same with the man in book. What a coincidence ! I read from chapter 1 to 8 although my homeworks were only chapter 6 7 8. Reading much doesn't harm anything . Is it righ , Alz ? And now i ' m writting what i underwent tonight in the Alz's blog. It is 4:08 AM and good night Memphis , classmates and Alz.


            

To be a teacher

 I want to be a English teacher in highschool because I want students to have dreams and passions for dreams. There are a lot of people who wants to be a teacher so my dream is too difficult to realize.

 When I was a junior high school student, I went to supplemental school. Then, I met very great teacher. He always said, "If you have a dream, you must consider how to use a time. If you use a time for your amusements, your life will be boring." When I heard that, I decided to use my time for my dream. Thanks to the teacher's words, I could go to the high school where I want to go. The teacher taught us math and having dream. I can remember the teacher's words, three or four. I think it is rude but I confidence his words and existence make present me.

He left the supplemental school teacher. Now, he is chiropractor. When I and my best friend go to dinner with the teacher, we asked, "Why did you change the job? It was risky. You are not young, why could you decide to change the job? (In Japan, people usually do not change the job. It is risky for Japanese people.)" Then, the teacher said, "I wanted to be a chiropracter but I wanted to be a teacher, too. When I was a salaryman, I decided to be a supplemental school teacher. After being a teacher, I considered I would save money and open my chiropractic clinic. When I was a teacher, I considered this job was more interesting than before I considered. I wanted to continue that job but one day I thought I depended on this interesting job. Why I stopped being a chiropracter? I alway said having dream to my students. I thought. Since I talked about dream to you, I desided to fulfill my dream, a chiropracter. " When we heard the teacher's explanation, I remembered my passion. "Even if my teacher change the job, he will be always my teacher." I was positive that.

In Japan, to be a teacher are very difficult but I want to believe myself and live hard in my life. I imagine me to be a techer and  I study English now.

American Life in Memphis

I arrived in Memphis on August 23. It was my first time to come to USA. We had a lot of fear and expectation about American life.When I arrived on airplane of Memphis, my friend, who came to my university in Japan as exchange student, came to pick me up and I became composed. Then my American life started.

Next day, I was taken to
some places by car because I have time until my school start and we went to downtown. It was great and was designed by many colors. I became to like Memphis immediately. My friend took me to many places to buy a lot of things that was important for stay in America. After small trip, I went back and prepared for school

I had test that we were separated by out own level in our first day in the school and I had class of 3 level. I was quite nervous when I went to the class in the first time, but all of guys in the class are good. My friends increased gradually and we hung out almost every day. A thing that I was surprised with was when I went bowling. That place was quite different from Japanese one and like bar. There was good atmosphere and I liked there.

Last week, I had tryouts to belong to soccer team in university of Memphis. I passed it and could belong. Last weekend, I had soccer match and we couldn't win. I participated, but I couldn't get a ball from mates because maybe I was new face and can't communicate well. After that, I laid down and couldn't move for a few time. I was mortifyed,but I enjoyed playing soccer. I am not tough and I have to practice to play soccer and sometimes go running.

 

Lost in Paris, France

 

Three years ago my husband and I made a travel to Europe; we visited different countries. But we will never forget going to Paris. There are two reasons why we won’t forget it, one because it is a beautiful city, and the second one because we experienced an anguished odyssey. The first day we visited the Notre – Dame Cathedral, the Elysees Champ and The Arch of Triumph. Everything was perfect and we were so happy, but the second day we went to the Eiffel Tower. We loved the place, we walked  around there all day, and we waited for the night to arrive because we wanted to see the Tower in the night with all the lights on. The time passed very fast and we knew that our last bus left at 10:00pm. When we saw the clock, it was10:30, we thought it is ok we can search for a taxi. We decided to go to dinner at a restaurant, and when we finished the dinner, we walked to search for a taxi but never saw one. So we decided to take a different bus; when the bus stopped we tries to ask the diver of the bus, and he said something like yes and when we needed to get off the bus, the man told us something but we did not understood. We walked and walked for a long time, and never saw our hotel. We were afraid because it was pass midnight and we couldn’t find our hotel. So we continued walking, and saw a man. We did not know if to ask him or not because we didn’t know if he was a good person, but we were lost and very tired and needed to find the hotel. So we decided to try to ask him, and thank God he was a good person; he tried to tell us and he walked with us a little bit, and we understood him. We walked by a construction site and finally at the distance we saw our hotel. This is a true history.  

A great day with my family.

Today was a great day with my family because my big sister arrived from Mexico. She be here for 11 days. When she arrived in the International Airport of Memphis everybody were happy. My brother took pictures for that moment. After picked up my sister, we decided go to the restaurant, I said that "I want to eat beef" and all said OK  The restaurant is in Southhaven and has a taste food. It was a nice dinner because everybody talked and laugh about thing that happen when all were young. When we finished it the dinner my brother said that he wants to go to the cinema. We decided to go and spend time together. The movie was funny and wonderful because the actor who acted in the movie is from Mexico, he is a good actor and very creative for make movies and he put something of himself that make it a great movie. When the movie end was time for go home, everybody were tired. It was a beautiful day.

My trip in Europe

In October,2012.I was chosen by professor to have this chance to go to Europe as a scholar.We spent a cup of days there,and visited 6 countries which are Holland,Finland,Germany,Norway,Denmark and Sweden. We visited a lot of art college there.To see what design is in Europe,and how do Europe art college train their students.Of cause,we also traveled around.



We went to some famous view,such as Berlin Wall,Brandenburg Gate,Stockholm Kungliga Slottet.We went to shopping,took a big ship to cores the Baltic Sea,saw the sun rise up from the sea.We had many fun there.


In Finland,I saw a very interesting thing.There are so many men rode a bike as exercise,but with a little baby car behind their bike,which has 1 or 2 kids laying in it.It’s not one’s hobby,it’s like a fashion.What strange thing it is!Why people do that?Teacher who was work for a art collage in Finland. He told me that because the law,parent must take children go out side every day. “Why all is man do that. Where is baby's mother?” I asked again.“ Because parent will get paid vacation after the baby was born.” He said ,“When a baby was born, mother will get 3 years paid vacation. They don’t need go to work. But must take care of kids every minute. 3 years later mother will go work again,then baby’s father must take the place. He will get 3 years paid vacation too. So father takes the children go out side everyday. Ride a bike is the easiest way.” Sounds interesting!
After that thrip. I have a dream that could travel around world. To see what different world is. To know different culture. And see the beautiful view.

Very nice surprise

When I was first time in united states. We had trip to Chicago where I never been before. We spent nice weekend in amazing city! When we came back to Memphis I got message from my sister Magdalena. I was really confusion from this message....

 Message:  ,,if you have time can you see on your Facebook? I sent you some photos..."

Ten minutes later I couldn't believe my eyes. I got photos from their secret wedding. They were married :-)  nobody didn't know about it. Just my second sister Veronika.

It was really nice surprise :-)

Cone and go

This  history start like 8 years ago when I was out with my friends in Venezuela, that night we went to a bar outside the city limits, after a while we decide to leave that place because the were closing I took my truck and another friend took  his car, like 5 miles later we founded like "police station" its was more like 3 cones in the middle of the road but nobody was there; I had to slow my speed while I was trying to watch for cops around I hear my friends shouting at me saying " hurry up, hurry up!!!" I was kind of confused beacuse I did know what was happening at that moment, when I speed up and looked the mirror I realized my friends took one of the cones in the middle of the street.
Just 2 minutes later we were running o way the cops that took us like 15 min leave the cops behind, when we thought everything was ok, we all stopped at a friend house trying to catch our breath back, 2 mins later a police car stop by us and start asking if we knew something about a cone, and all of us were around the car where we hide the cone trying to not get search. .. the cop stand besides us and ask " we where looking for a car just like this, gray" we all act really fast and said "sr but this car its not gray, its Beige!" And the cop said "mmm you don't mind if I take a look?" And we all scare, no sr no problem. After he search the car I didn't find the cone because just look in the interior he never look the trunk! After he left we felt so relive and we decided never steel from police.  True history!
